In 2022, Witch and Hazel was created by Rogue Sypersma, as well as another first of its kind start up nonprofit known as the Wildfire Intrapersonal Transformation Initiative.
But first, What is Witch and Hazel and HOW did it come to life?
Witch and Hazel all started with a novice witch's admiration for their dear girlfriend, whom used candles like they were going to disappear during a pandemic. She had so many used candle jars that I stared to wonder how there could be a more eco-friendly option. So, I decided to make her the most sustainable, ethical and eco-friendly candle I could!
With the help of a wonderful kid named Phoenix, Witch and Hazel's, first candles came to life.
A new first of its kind, queer owned brand that concentrate on the importance of sustainablity
using recycled glassware, crackling wooden
wicks that purchases goes to planting trees,
and renewable soy wax.
This is how the candles became known as Phoenix Forgeries, and how Witch and Hazel Apothecaré, became its own living fire.
So,
What is Wildfire Intrapersonal Transformation Initiative?
A witty nonprofit set out to help others change themselves from within, so that they may assist in the changes we need in this world. By launching our first Mental Health Support group (4/20/2023) where the modality "Movement for Improvement" will be taught to members and participants. Led by Performing Artist/Writer/Producer, Rogue Sypersma and the WITI board members.*
Again,
I thank you, so much, for taking the time to read this.
I hope to create a safe space, a community of sorts for others to come, heal and be apart of something great, together. Supporting Witch and Hazel, supports me, which supports the WIT Initiative, and so on goes the blessings.
I hope to continue to share meaningful information here, pagan blogs, some selective poetry and perhaps the spell on occasion.
Blessed Be❦
Your friend,
Rogue.
❤
*WITI board members include: Lynk Bellahues, Catherine Daly, Lore Oliver, and Mattie Kennedy. Who have given countless hours to growing and spreading the word about the WITI initiative.
